Diamond Edge LLC · Effective at app-beta launch (August 10, 2026) · Version 0.9
Status: this is the launch draft, published for transparency before the beta
opens. It is scheduled for attorney review before any payment is collected. If the reviewed version
changes anything material, waitlist members will be emailed the diff — honesty is the brand.
The short version
- We collect the minimum a multiplayer game needs to work, and we don't sell any of it.
- You can play as a guest via an invite link; guest sessions are not used to build a profile of you.
- Ads on the free tier are contextual (based on the page, not on you). No behavioral ad profiles.
- Diamond Tabletop is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their personal information.
What we collect
- Waitlist: your email address, because you sent it to us. Used for beta invites and a monthly update. Every email has a working unsubscribe.
- Guest play (no account): a display name you type, a temporary session token, and the technical basics any online service receives (IP address, device and OS version). This applies the same way however you arrived — including through an invite link that carried its game
code across the install, or (in future) an iOS App Clip. Guest sessions exist to run your game, not to identify you; they are not joined into a marketing profile.
- Accounts (optional): email, display name, game history and stats — the things the product visibly does with them.
- Turn notifications: a push token, if and only if you opt in. Used to tell you it's your turn.
- Payments: handled by Stripe or the app stores. We never see or store card numbers.
Children
Diamond Tabletop is a general-audience service for adults and teens organizing game nights; it is
not directed to children under 13. Account creation requires confirming you are 13 or older. Guest
join-links do not create persistent profiles. Free-tier ads are contextual, never behavioral. If we
learn we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete it — tell us through
our contact form.
What we never do
- Sell or rent your personal information. To anyone. This is a policy commitment, not a today-only fact.
- Build behavioral advertising profiles of players.
- Email you without a working unsubscribe link.
Sharing
Service providers only, under contract, to run the product: hosting (Cloudflare), email (Brevo,
Google Workspace), payments (Stripe, Apple, Google), subscription infrastructure (RevenueCat), and
contextual ad delivery on the free tier. Plus disclosures the law actually requires.
Your rights
Use our contact form to access, correct, export, or delete your data — we
honor these requests for everyone, not only where a statute makes us (CCPA/GDPR and similar apply where
applicable). You can also delete your account yourself, in the app or at
diamondtabletop.com/account/delete.html, without contacting us at all.
Deleting your account deletes your profile and stats; finished-game records are anonymized.
Changes
Material changes are announced by email to account holders and dated here. Continued use after a
change is acceptance; if you disagree, delete your account and we'll part friends.
